As a new runner, I appreciate Galloway's simplicity. He explains every facet of how to be a succesfful, injury free runner. This is the 2nd book I've read that Galloway wrote. He covers every topic--how to get started--training--racing--tuning--injuries--food--shoes--start to finish--and even includes a page about predicting your race performance. I like the personal stories and testimonials that Galloway includes to reiterate his points. I feel confident when I run because I know I'm doing it "right."
